Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a degree in Computer Science or a related field, 7+ years of programming experience, and strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and relational database systems. The ideal candidate has excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
In this role, you will be responsible for extending, optimizing, and maintaining components of a complex banking software solution. You will implement advanced requirements in PL/SQL, collaborate within an international Scrum team, and contribute to the lifecycle management of existing systems.
Job responsibilities
This role involves extending, optimizing, and maintaining components of a financial software package, implementing complex requirements in PL/SQL and collaborating within an international Scrum team. You will also contribute to the life-cycle management of existing solutions.
You will be responsible for:
- Extend, optimize, and maintain multiple components of a large-scale financial software solution
- Implement complex requirements using PL/SQL
- Design technical concepts and specifications based on business requirements
- Collaborate closely within a cross-functional Scrum team
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and tests
- Contribute to lifecycle management and continuous improvement of existing solutions.
Job requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- 7+ years of professional programming experience
- Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and solution engineering
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset
- Oriented toward long-term cooperation and stability
- Banking domain knowledge, preferably in areas such as fees, tariffs, anti-money laundering, and forms is an advantage
- Familiarity with continuous integration toolsets is an advantage
- German language proficiency at B1 level or higher is a strong advantage
- Willingness to learn German and work in a German-speaking environment
- Knowledge of Java is beneficial but not required.
