Our colleagues Petko Milidragović, Petar Milošević, Aleksandar Dodić and Đorđe Stanivuković have attended the finals of the national student robotics competition "EURobot Serbia 2022".

This national competition is a part of the international "Eurobot" contest, where over 50 teams from over 31 countries compete at the international final.

The object of Eurobot is to foster and develop interest in robotics in young people on an international scale. To reach this goal, it promotes and organizes the national qualifications and the international final for the Eurobot robotics contest.

Serbia has participated in the Eurobot competition 19 times already and has always had a notable result. "PMG robotics" is still the current European champion. He won first place at Eurobot-2019 in La Roche sur Yon, near Paris.

The theme of this year's competition is archeology. Student teams needed to create robots capable of performing various archeology-typical actions like discovering the excavation square, researching and analyzing samples, storing samples in the work shed, preserving and exhibiting the statuette, displaying the discoveries in the museum and returning to the campsite...

Enlight IT has worked with clients from the robotics industry for years, and we know that great software engineering expertise combined with mechatronics experience allows our engineers to truly create long-term value for the client. The other reason for our sponsorship is to make the competition more equal. Every student team needs to find resources for the development of their robot. Not every team has equal success in doing that. So we decided to join the fund. This way, the outcome less depends on the student team's success in finding the resources (not that this is a problem in the real world) and more on their ability to innovate."

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the "EURobot Serbia". We believe that our three best-ranked teams will continue the long tradition of success at the international "EUROBOT" competition. All the best in France!
